Something funny about Mako is that as the series has gone on, I keep getting the dumbest little wishes granted through him.
So like we start the series out and when he walks into the scene, I'm like "OMG!" because you can tell he's a firebender from a mile off, and I'm hoping he's "on the team."

Once Bolin introduces him, I know that's solid so I'm like "Yay! But is he a GOOD BENDER?" And then he has that awesome opening match, and so I'm like "Yes!" cause we get a good, dedicated firebender on the team from the get-go and it makes me so happy. But then I'm like, "Aw, I bet he can't lightning bend though."

Next ep, he's bending lightning, so I'm like "Oh! I bet he doesn't use it in combat though."

Episodes 8, 10 and 12--thank you <3. And ever since they showed Aang sneeze in AtLA, I've always wondered if firebenders sneeze fire--and we've never seen that.

Then he "sneezed fire" in episode 7. AND finally! When we first saw the chi-blockers for the first time on their bikes, and I was like "Man, it's too bad they'd never put him on a motorcycle--it'd be so cool to put a firebender on a motorcycle and use their firebending as, like, extra propulsion and stuff."

Yeah, you can probably imagine my reaction at Comic Con last year when I found out he's getting a motorcyle after all.

Anyway! I seriously hope they reference Akira with his biking HARDCORE. Like frealz--so this is completely referencing Akira 100%
